NIKE Mid Blazer '77 Vntg

Nike have unveiled two new renditions of the timeless Blazer Mid to pay tribute to the city of Shanghai. The two pairs adopt a very similar base colour scheme, before mixing things up with the side Swooshes: one opting for orange and lime green, while the other goes with pink and orange.

Those leather side Swooshes actually sit on top of Swooshes that are printed onto the upper – delivering a neat double up. Other special touches include the longitude and latitude coordinates for China’s biggest city appearing on the lateral side of the midsole on each shoe, and unique branding on the tongues and insoles to continue the Shanghai theme.

The imminent release joins a strong stable of Blazer Mid designs so far this year, with the old school baller popping up in multiple themed colourways – including colourful Christmas, spooky Halloween, and an Air Mowabb–inspired ACG build. And that’s just in the last couple of months!
